April 2007 WTS Guest Speaker Series: EcoDensity Transportation Challenges
Summary: EcoDensity is a City of Vancouver Initiative to create city wide greater density while lowering the impact on environment, supports housing affordability, and maintains livability. Brent and Jerry will speak on the challenges of expanding the land use and transportation success in higher density areas, such as Downtown or the Collingwood Neighhorhood, to the rest of City where tolerance for density, parking demand, and traffic congestions are generally lower.
