INVESTING IN OUR TRANSPORTATION EVOLUTION
The QUAD Conference is an annual transportation conference held in the Pacific Northwest that provides a forum for transportation professionals to network, exchange ideas, discuss best practices, share research and showcase recent projects. The general focus is on land-based transportation, such as walking, cycling, transit, goods movement and vehicles. A wide variety of topics are covered, including planning, analysis, design, construction, maintenance, operations, safety, technology and financing, among others.
The theme for the 2015 QUAD Conference is "Investing in our Transportation Evolution". Many trends are reshaping the transportation industry‘s landscape, such as social media, autonomous vehicles, and the shift towards active transportation. Discover the innovative ways that transportation professionals are leading this evolution, and how the public and private sectors are investing in this change.
This year, the QUAD Conference is pleased to welcome Pro Walk Pro Bike Pro Place as our partners. The Pro Walk Pro Bike Pro Place Conference will be held in Vancouver in 2016 with the theme of “Better Health through Active Transportation.” To provide a hint of what is to come in 2016, a few sessions, tours and workshops will be added to the QUAD Conference to highlight the link between transportation and health.

Thank you for attending the 2015 QUAD Conference and making it such a success! In total, we had 214? attendees, 54 presentations, 10 sponsors, 8 vendor booths and 1 fantastic dinner boat cruise! In addition to the conference, we hope you enjoyed the tours and the workshops as well.
If you have any comments about the conference, please share them with us at QUAD2015@citevancouver.org! We would love to hear your thoughts about the food, venue, schedule, sessions, website, registration, and anything else that comes to mind.

Spaces are still available for tours and workshops happening before and after the conference. Register ASAP to reserve your spot for these exciting opportunities! Note that you can still register for tours and workshops even if you’ve already registered for the conference. You can also attend even if you’re not attending the conference.

The 2015 QUAD Conference will be held at the Pan Pacific Hotel, located on the waterfront in beautiful downtown Vancouver, and only a short stroll to entertainment, shopping, and dining along Robson Street and Granville Street. The hotel is also conveniently located next to the Waterfront SkyTrain and Canada Line Stations, and the West Coast Express and Seabus terminals.
